Career
She started her acting career while she was still studying in 7th grade by acting in Malayalam television series like Vellankanni Mathavu, Amme Devi, and Ente Manasa Puthri. She then made her silver screen debut at the young age of 15 by acting in Rajesh Pillai’s Road Thriller Malayalam film Traffic in the year 2011. She played her first lead role in the Malayalam film Puthiya Theerangal.
For her performance in this film, she won herself New Face of the Year award. Then released her flick, Sound Thoma. Her performance in this film was heavily praised. This movie will always be remembered for chemistry with co-actor Dileep and for its comic sequences in this film.
She made her Tamil film debut in 2013 with the film titled En Kaadhal Pudhithu in the year 2014. She also starred in some Telugu films as well. She won Vanitha Awards Most Popular Actress award for her performance in films like Adi Kapyare Kootamani and Amar Akbar Anthony. Since 2018, she is concentrating only in Malayalam films and was recently seen in films like Al Mallu, Margamkali. She will be next seen in Malayalm film Professir Dinkan which is due to release in 2020. She has formed a formidabble on screen pair with Dileep and together the couple has worked in 5 films.
