Career
She made her acting debut with the Telugu movie titled Bendu Apparao R.M.P in the year 2009.The movie was a box office hit for the year 2009 prior to movies she was a working in theatre as a child artist.
She was offered a role in the Tamil film titled Krishnaleelai even before she made her debut. The film got delayed for production reasons. Later, she made her Kannada films debut with Punda, which was a remake of 2007 movie Polladhavan and Tamil film debut with KS Vandhen, directed by Boopathy Pandian. Her Tamil debut movie was unable to bring people to the theatre and become a failure. Subsequently, she marked her footsteps in her first Malayalam movie in the year August 2010 Yakshiyum Njanum, director by Vinayan.
After repetitive flops in 2011, Meghana made her come back through the Malayalam movie titled Beautiful. The film got widely accepted by critics and also became a commercial hit. In 2013, Meghana moved to Kannada films after a period of four years. She gave two subsequent hit Raja Huli and Bahuparak, both the films were a great credit in her acting account.
Meghana has won ‘The Kochi Times Film Award for Promising Newcomer’ in Beautiful and Suvarna Film Award for Best Debut Actress in Kannada for the movie Punda in the year 2011. Meghana stood in 19th position in the Kochi Times ‘Most desirable Woman 2015’ poll and 10 in the Bangalore Times ‘Most desirable Women 2015’ poll. Off late she is seen mostly in Kannada films and was seen in films like Iruvudellava Bittu, Onti, and Kurukshetra.
