
According to The Print, Yamaha has launched the E01 electric scooter in the global market. At present, its price information has not been given. The company says that its demo will be launched in Europe as well as five Asian countries.
As we mentioned, Yamaha has prepared this electric scooter by combining its motorbike technology and EV technology. The electric motor present in it is capable of generating maximum power of 8.1 kW / 5000 rpm and peak torque of 30.2 Nm / 1,950 rpm, thanks to which this electric scooter can reach a top speed of 100 kmph. The company says that running it at a speed of 60 kmph, this electric scooter can achieve a range of 100 km.
Its main attraction is the battery and charging output. The company claims that this electric scooter can be fully charged in an hour with the fast charger. The electric scooter can also be charged with normal and portable chargers, for which the company claims that it can be fully charged in about 5 hours with a normal charger and in about 14 hours with a portable charger.
The E01 gets dual channel ABS feature, dual rear suspension, traction control system and belt drive system. It also gets regenerative brakes. Smart features have also been included in it, including a multifunctional digital speedometer, smartkey system and reverse mode. It is also equipped with the Y-Connect system, which gives the rider the advantage of pairing his phone with the electric scooter. With this, the notification of the phone can be read in the display.
