New Delhi, Jnn. Akshay Kumar is considered the Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood. But from last few years his magic is not working. His film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, which released in theaters on June 3, was a flop. Not only this, Akshay also hit a hat-trick of consecutive flop films with this film. Alam is that this period drama film of Akshay Kumar, has reached its half-century of earnings. So at the same time, the director of the film Chandra Prakash Dwivedi has told Akshay Kumar the reason behind the flop of ‘Emperor Prithviraj’ in gesture gestures.

After the death of Emperor Prithviraj, the makers of the film have lashed out at Akshay Kumar. Director Chandraprakash Dwivedi, in his latest interview to Film Companion, said that ‘Akshay Kumar’s controversy regarding Pan Masala Ad and public statements made the audience angry, which also affected the film’s earnings.’ Let us inform that Chandraprakash Dwivedi wrote the story of the film after 18 years of research, but it did not take even 8 days to eat it at the box office.

Earlier, Chandraprakash Dwivedi told in a personal interview that Akshay Kumar clearly told him, ‘I also worked in Rowdy Rathore and Housefull. These movies pay me more. I made an attempt (along with Emperor Prithviraj). If people reject it, then no problem, I will start making films like Rowdy Rathore again. People want to see things that do not involve any controversy. Then I will do the same.’

As far as the earnings of Emperor Prithviraj are concerned, let us tell you that 20 days after the release, the film has so far earned 75 crores across the country. While talking about the world wide, it has collected 85 to 90 crores. If reports are to be believed, the film of veteran actors like Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt has collected 65 lakhs on the 20th day.
