Stock Market Update: There is a decline in the stock market even today. Today, profit-booking has been seen in the market, due to which both the indices have closed in the red mark. After today’s trading, the Sensex slipped 185.24 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at the level of 55,381.17. Apart from this, the Nifty index fell 61.80 points, or 0.37 percent, to close at 16,522.75.

Out of the list of top-30 stocks for the Sensex, 11 stocks have closed in the green. Apart from this, there has been a decline in 19 stocks. Today’s top gainer stock has been M&M. Apart from this, the stocks of HDFC, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, NTPC, Tata Steel, Axis Bank, SBI, ITC, ICICI Bank and Reliance have risen.

Apart from this, Nestle India’s stocks have closed down by 2.90 percent in the list of sell-off stocks. Apart from this, shares of Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma, HUL, Power Grid, Ultra Chemical, HCL Tech, Wipro, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Dr Reddy, Tatine, Bharti Airtel, Maruti, LT, TCS, IndusInd Bank and Asian Paints have also closed with a decline.

Talking about the sectoral index, today it has been a mixed business. Today Nifty Bank, Financial Services, Metal, PSU Bank, Private Bank and Consumer Durable Sectors closed in the green.
