His wife asks him how can they live together after knowing all this? The recording starts with the conversation between the couple.

‘I have killed 100 people with a machine’
The Russian soldier says to his wife, ‘Nastya, I want to tell you that I am killing civilians in Ukraine.’ He says, ‘Why are you asking all this? what do you want to know from me? I will not tell you how it is in reality.’ His wife says, ‘I don’t know…I was hoping you weren’t fighting.’ The soldier says, ‘Nastya, I’m fighting, what did you think? I blew the head of a man with a Kalashnikov machine gun and killed about 100 people with a PKM machine gun.

Wife asked- are you proud of it?
Hearing the soldier’s words, his wife speaks softly, ‘How will we be together now?’ But he ignores his wife’s question and says, ‘I can kill a human. I can blow his head. I am not afraid of anyone.’ To this the wife asks, ‘Are you proud of it?’ The soldier says, ‘I threw the civilians into the pits. Everyone was shot in the head. Everyone was killed. They kept crying, begging me but I still shot them.

The soldier’s wife said, ‘But you said you would return to a good man and now…’ The soldier interrupted his wife and said, ‘I have never lied to you. I kneeled these Ukrainians.
