Pranayama for High BP: Nowadays the problem of high blood pressure is being seen in people of all age groups. It is also called hyper tension and silent killer. People with high BP are at higher risk of heart problems and stroke. To keep it under control, you can do regular pranayama along with medicines.

This pranayama is beneficial in acidity and stomach ulcers. By doing this, the digestive power is strengthened. Obviously, you will also get the benefit of this in controlling BP.

way to do it
Sit in a clean place in Vajrasana position. Take out your tongue and shape it like a pipe. After this, breathe with the help of tongue and fill the stomach and close the mouth. Place the front part of the jaw on the chest. After this, hold the breath for a few seconds and straighten the neck and exhale from the nose. That is, you have to slowly inhale and release the breath with the help of the tongue.

anulom vilom
Doing this pranayama on an empty stomach daily gives benefit. It makes the lungs strong. Not only this, it also improves the flow of oxygen. It also reduces your mental stress. If you do it daily, it will also keep your BP under control.

How to do
To do Anulom Vilom, sit in a calm environment. You can sit in Padmasana or Sukhasana position. Now close the right nostril with the thumb of your right hand, breathe through the left nostril. After this, close the left nostril and exhale through the right nostril. You do this process from both the nostrils continuously for a few minutes.

Sukhasana, Balasan, Bhramari, Shavasana and Bhujangasana are also beneficial for high BP patients. You can control high BP by doing these pranayamas regularly.
