Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana New Rules: The central government keeps on bringing many types of social schemes for the poor and weak income group of the country. One of them is the name of the scheme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Through this, the government allots houses and flats to the poor people to live in the government. If you are also a beneficiary of PM Awas Yojana, then this news is of your use.
Let us tell you that the government has made major changes in this scheme. After the change in these rules, if you enter into a Registered Agreement on the allotted houses, then you will not be given the registry of the allotted house.
Changes made in the plan
Let us tell you that after the changed rules, the government will now check whether the beneficiary has lived in that house for at least five years after allotting the house. If a beneficiary gives it on rent after the house is allotted, then the government will not transfer the deed of the house in the name of the beneficiary and will cancel the allotment of that flat or house. Along with this, the security money deposited at the time of allotment of the house will also not be returned. Along with this, now the beneficiaries will have to stay in the flat for at least five years. Only after that it will be transferred in the name of the beneficiary.
in case of someone’s death
Let us tell you that if a beneficiary dies before the completion of five years, then his family will have to live in that house for at least five years. After this, that flat or house will be transferred in the name of another family member. The government has taken this step so that the benefits of the scheme reach all the beneficiaries.
