Nowadays, many passengers do alarm chain pulling at railway stations without any reason. Due to this many passengers have to face a lot of trouble.

In such a situation, to overcome this problem and to be strict on the passengers, the Central Railway has taken this strict decision. The Central Railway has increased the charges on platform tickets by up to five times at many stations in Mumbai. The new charges for platform tickets have been implemented from May 9.

Passengers will have to pay so much fee
Let us tell you that after this decision of the Railways, now the passengers will have to pay a much higher fee than before. Earlier, for the ticket for which passengers had to pay Rs 10, now they will have to pay Rs 50 for this. Railways has implemented these rates from May 9 to May 23. This new rates have been implemented in Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Thane, Dadar, Panvel station and Kalyan.

Incidents of chain pulling are increasing
Central Railway (Central Railway Price Hike for Platform Ticket) has told that for some time in Mumbai Division people do alarm chain pulling without any reason. Due to this, railways and passengers all have to face a lot of trouble. In the month of April alone, a total of 332 cases of chain pulling have come to the fore in which chain pulling has been done in only 53 cases for the right reasons. In such a situation, to prevent such incidents, the Railways has decided to increase the fee for platform tickets. Along with this, the Railways has collected a fine of Rs 94 thousand from those doing chain pulling without any reason.
