New Increment Formula: Amidst the ongoing discussions regarding the 8th Pay Commission, a big update has come out from the government. In a recent report quoting sources in the Finance Ministry, it has been said that now there is no preparation to bring any new pay commission for central employees. That is, they will continue to get salary on the basis of 7th Pay Commission.

The employees working under the Central Government in the country are paid salary on the basis of the Seventh Pay Commission, in which the dearness allowance is increased annually. Recently, the government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) by three percent from 31 to 34 percent. Due to which there has been a big jump in the salary of the employees.

Preparation to increase DA

Along with this, there is also a possibility that the government may further increase the DA of central employees in July-August to give relief from rising inflation. It has been said in the report that there is every possibility that the Seventh Pay Commission will be the last one for the central employees. That is, the Eighth Pay Commission did not come.

In the midst of these possibilities, the government is looking for a new formula to increase the salary of the employees. According to sources, under the new formula, the salary of the employees will increase on the basis of their performance. However, this plan has not been stamped yet, but it is being considered in this direction. The report said that under this formula, the salary will automatically increase if there is 50 percent DA.

will affect them

If the central government brings such a rule, then the effect of this decision will benefit 47 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners. However, the most positive effect of this will be on the low level employees. However, no confirmation has been made by the government regarding this yet. But quoting sources, it has been said that work is going on on this, as well as the government has no plan to bring the Eighth Pay Commission.
