Bilawal Bhutto tweeted, ‘Strongly condemn the unjust punishment of Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik through a sham trial. India can never silence the voice of freedom and self-determination of Kashmiris. Pakistan is with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters and will continue to extend all possible support in their just struggle.
Pakistan kept pleading till UN
Pakistan directly gives help to terrorists. But he is always engaged in saving them also. Celebrities of Pakistan have been continuously pleading with the United Nations to save Yasin Malik. Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi tweeted in support of Yasin Malik and demanded that the UN should intervene in this matter. Along with Shahid Afridi, MP Naaz Baloch and journalist Hamid Mir had also appealed to the UN to save Yasin in this case.

A special NIA court in Delhi has sentenced Yasin Malik, the leader of the banned organization Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, to life imprisonment in the terror funding case, after which Pakistan’s stomach has started hurting. Yasin Malik was sentenced under different sections. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment in two cases. While in four sections, he has been sentenced to 10 years each. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has described the sentencing of Yasin Malik as a black day.
