If money has been withdrawn from your account through online fraud, then you can call 1930. You can directly register your complaint by calling this number. After the complaint is registered, even the money can be got back from your account. Earlier, 155360 Helpline Number was used to make such complaints. However, now it has been changed to 1930.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has started this number in collaboration with DoT. After making a complaint here, a ticket is generated with the Financial Intermediaries (FI) concern. In such a situation, both the account from which money has been withdrawn and whose account has reached, both are fully monitored. If money has not been withdrawn from the credited account, then it is immediately frozen after the complaint. That is, no one can withdraw that money.
You should not delay in case of online fraud. In case of delay, it can become a problem for you and you will not get the money back. If you make a complaint in time, then after thorough investigation you can get your money back. That’s why time is most important here.
