Ather 450X, 450 Plus Gen 3 price in India, availability
Ather 450X Gen 3 price in India starts from Rs. 1.39 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Apart from this, the company has also launched the Ather 450 Plus Gen 3 scooter, which has been priced at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). These prices include FAME II and other subsidies.
As we mentioned, the EV-maker has also received the ARAI certification to start mass production of its new scooter. The company has promised that the deliveries of the updated 450X will start soon.
Ather 450X Gen 3 specifications, features
The new 450X Gen 3 has been upgraded with updated features and a longer range. Ather claims that this scooter is the best 450X model ever. The new 450X electric scooter is fitted with a 3.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with 74 Ah capacity. For comparison, let us tell you that the previous model came equipped with a battery pack of 2.9 kWh capacity, which had a single charge range of 116 km. Now, regarding the new scooter, the company has claimed that it gives a maximum range of 146 km according to the Indian drive cycle.
The 450X electric scooter can be driven in different riding modes – Warp, Sport, Ride, Smart Eco and Eco Mode. The range of the scooter will vary depending on the mode selected. This battery pack can be charged from 0-80% at home charging in 4 hours 30 minutes, while it will take 5 hours 40 minutes to charge from 0-100% in home charging. It also has a fast charging option.
Powering the scooter is almost the same, with the 450X being powered by an electric motor generating 6.2 kW of peak power. This motor generates a peak torque of 26 Nm. The company says that the electric scooter delivers an actual top speed of 80 kmph and a display top speed of 90 kmph. It can catch the speed of 0-40 kmph in 3.3 seconds.
The scooter gets a 7-inch LCD touchscreen display, which comes with LED backlight function. The system now comes equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which is double the previous model. Ather says that the new model includes a much better and faster UI.

The new 450 Plus Gen 3 also comes with the same battery pack as the 450X. However, the company claims that it will get a certified range of 108 km. The charging time of the battery pack is also similar to that of the 450X. The 450 Plus doesn’t get the Warp mode included in the 450X. Apart from this, it comes with Sport, Ride, Smart Eco and Eco Mode. The range of the scooter will vary depending on the mode selected.
Talking about the power of the scooter, the 450 Plus has an electric motor that generates a peak power of 5.4 kW. This motor generates a peak torque of 22 Nm. The top speed of the scooter is the same as that of the 450X, but it will accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3.9 seconds.
