The certification issued by Rushlane for the Mahindra Atom Electric by the Delhi Transport Department has been leaked, which reveals the variants of this electric car and some of their key specifications. The car will be launched in four variants, namely Atom K1, Atom K2, Atom K3 and Atom K4.
Coming to the specifications, the certifications reveal that the K1 and K2 base models will be equipped with a battery pack of 7.4 kWh / 144 Ah capacity. At the same time, the above two models, K3 and K4 will get a battery pack of 11.1 kWh / 216 Ah capacity. At present, its exact range has not been told, but it has been estimated in the report that its single charge range can be 80-100 kms. Being smaller battery packs, the K1 and K2 may have less range, while the K3 and K4 may be able to deliver more range.
Furthermore, the document states that the battery packs of the K1 and K2 models will weigh 98 kg and consume 90 Wh/km of electrical energy. At the same time, the battery pack of the K3 and K4 models will weigh 145 kg and will consume 106 Wh/Km of electric energy. The curb weight of Mahindra Atom Electric is 434 kg to 458 kg. The car will be designed to seat four people including the driver.
Its wheelbase will be 1885 mm. Apart from this, its width will be 1452 mm, length will be 2728 mm and height will be 1576 mm. Reports say that its top speed can be 50-60 kmph.
