Aloo Badi Vegetable Recipe: In summer, many times a vegetable does not understand what to make. Sometimes they get bored by eating the same vegetables. Ingredients for making Moong Dal Ki Badi and Aloo Sabzi

  • 2-3 medium potatoes
  • 75 grams dal big
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 pinch asafoetida
  • a little cumin
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • few finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil

Moong Dal Ki Badi and Aloo Sabzi Recipe

1- First of all, fry the moong dal by putting 1 tsp of oil in the pan and take them out when they turn brown.
2- If you are looking for a big size, then break them and make them a little smaller.
3- Now grind tomatoes, green chilies and ginger in a mixer.
4- Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into cubes.
5- Now put oil in the cooker or wok for making vegetables and add asafoetida, cumin seeds to it.
6- Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder and fry the spices lightly and now add tomato paste.
7- Fry the spices till it leaves the oil. Now add red chili, roasted big and potatoes to it.
8- Stir it a little and fry for 2-3 minutes. Now add water according to you and after adding salt close the cooker. If making in a pan, cover it.
9- After 1 whistle in the cooker, cook it for 2-3 minutes more. Cook the vegetable in a pan till the potatoes melt. When the vegetable is cooked, add green coriander and garam masala to it.
10- A little more water is added to the vegetable of Aloo Badi because it absorbs water. So keep the water according to you.
