Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is losing his dignity while targeting his opponents. Now he has made such a comment on Maryam Nawaz from the stage due to which he is facing opposition. People are calling her anti-women and her statement inappropriate for women.

During a rally in Multan, Imran Khan said about PML-N’s Vice President Maryam Nawaz that don’t take my name so strongly that your husband gets angry. Imran said, ‘I was watching a clip of Maryam’s rally. In this he took my name so often and with such passion that I want to tell him that look at Mary, meditate a little, lest your husband gets angry, the way you take my name.’

Prime Minister objected
According to the report of Geo News, after his statement, many politicians and citizens have raised strong objections against his statement on social media. Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Maryam’s uncle Shahbaz Sharif also raised objections against it. He tweeted, ‘The derogatory language used against the daughter of the country, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, should be strongly condemned by the entire nation, especially women. Your crimes against country and nation cannot hide in your humour. What can be expected of respect for women and daughters from those who violate the dignity of Masjid-e-Nabwi.

He further said, ‘Imran is the first person in history who has fallen so much as a leader of a party. That party came out to build the country, but it spoiled the morals of the people of the country. Former Prime Minister Asif Ali Zardari also condemned Imran in this matter. He tweeted, ‘Those who have mothers and sisters in their homes do not use such language against other women. Please don’t stoop so low in the name of politics.
