  • After putting the onion in the poly bag, remove the air well and then after closing the seal, keep the onion in the freezer bag or tray, not in the fridge. Then whenever you want to use this onion, take it out of the fridge before some time.
  • You can store onion in any form in the fridge, it becomes a bit watery. Therefore, if you use this onion taken out from the fridge in making soup, sauce or void food, then it will be better. Yes, you can also prepare chutney or gravy from this onion. Because using this onion in tempering can cause oil to splutter a lot.
  • If you do not have resealable bags, then you can store onions in an air tight jar and keep them in the fridge. By the way, please note that big packed namkeen and bhujia etc. now come only in resealable bags, if you have any such empty bag then you can use it.
