Honor Play 30 phone launched with 5000mAh battery, 128GB storage and dual cameras

Honor Play 30 smartphone was launched in China on Tuesday. This entry-level smartphone comes with 5G connectivity and a single rear camera. Its camera module resembles that of the iPhone 13. Snapdragon 480+ processor has been given in this handset, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM. This Honor phone also comes with Smart RAM Expansion feature which uses up to 2GB of RAM from storage for smooth operations. In this way, in total the phone gets up to 10 GB of RAM. The Honor Play 30 packs a 5,000mAh battery and has been launched in multiple color options.

The price of Honor Play 30 has not been disclosed yet. This phone is currently listed for pre-reservation in China. The phone can be purchased in Black, Blue, Gold and White color options.

The Honor Play 30 smartphone that comes with dual-SIM slot runs on Honor MagicUI 5.0 based on Android 11. It has a 6.5-inch HD + (720×1,600 pixels) TFT LCD display. The phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor, which is supported by up to 8GB of LPDDRX4 RAM. RAM can be expanded up to 2GB. This smartphone comes with a single rear camera. The primary sensor of 13 megapixels in the phone is with f / 1.8 lens. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 lens.

The Honor Play 30 has 128GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity options, the phone includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C cable. Ambient light sensor, compass, proximity sensor and gravity sensor have been given as onboard sensors. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
