The dream of man reaching the moon was fulfilled on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong first set his steps on the moon’s earth. Now there are many space agencies who are trying to make space travel easier for common people as well. In the coming times, the target of these agencies is to build hotels in the space where people can go with their families. Then you too will be able to go to space with your family. But would you believe if we say that a family has already reached space. Not only space, but this family has also reached the moon.
The family consists of husband and wife and their two children. This family is of Charlie Duke, a member of the Apollo 16 mission. Although this family did not really go to the moon, but a picture of it went there, which is still there. Charlie Duke went to space in 1972. Charlie Duke is the 10th and youngest person to walk on the surface of the Moon. All the astronauts of this mission were allowed to take one of their belongings to the moon. The Duke took advantage of this and took a photo of his family.
This message written behind the photo
Charlie Duke explains that he used to stay away from his family during training. His children were small, who used to constantly ask about space and the moon. One day he asked if we could go to the moon with the whole family, to which Charlie Duke said that we can’t really go, but our photos can. Charlie says we called NASA photographer Ludi Benjamin to take the picture. He took a picture of both the kids with my wife. He further said that everyone signed the back of the picture and wrote the message, ‘This is the family of the astronaut Charlie Duke of planet Earth, who landed on the moon in April 1972.’

photo of moon
Charlie Duke says that when he told NASA management about this, he got permission that I can take a picture on the moon. He said that during my three days on the moon, I finally took the photo out of the pocket of my space suit and left it on the surface of the moon. By luck, this picture fell straight, which he took a photo of.
