India’s Sukhoi fighter jet can hit 1500 km without refueling in the air. When equipped with this new BrahMos missile, this fighter jet can hit about 2 thousand km. In this way, the Indian Air Force has now acquired the capability to strike long distances on land and at sea. With the help of BrahMos missile, the enemy’s very important military bases, underground nuclear bunkers, command and control centers, aircraft carriers at sea and warships can be destroyed very easily. Another variant of the BrahMos missile is also being made which can have a range of 800 km. This missile strikes at three times the speed of sound.
Pakistan President Arif Alvi is afraid of Brahmos
Because of this strong power of Brahmos, Pakistani President Arif Alvi is afraid. Recently, in an event organized on the completion of 50 years of Mirage fighter jet in the Pakistani Air Force, the Pakistani President had said that India has made BrahMos-2 missile. The speed of this missile is Mach 8.5. This means 8.5 times faster than the speed of sound. BrahMos missile can enter Pakistan within minutes. Arif Alvi had said that we need to strengthen our defense against our self-proclaimed enemy.
The Pakistani President praised the country’s Air Force and said that the Pakistani Air Force is fully capable of defending the country against any misadventure even in adverse conditions. He also claimed that the PAF has at times proved its mettle despite limited resources, especially by giving a befitting reply to the misadventures of the quarrelsome neighbor India. Pakistan has recently purchased an air defense system from China, which is believed to be the answer to India’s S-400.
